Ultasonic sensor question

Hi,

I have a technical question.

I want to use a 40kHz T sensor (those which are use in ranging devices) near my ear at distance 0.5cm to 1cm while it transmits ultrasound waves. Are you thinking that it is a danger? Is there any hazard doing so?

Maybe I detect it by an R one.
