Tv and/or satellite receiver

Hi all
I have a Sony kv2553mt tv set. when I connect my satellite receiver to it via the rf connector - its ok. when I connect it to the video/audio input (with the proper cable, of course, with RCA plugs) I'm getting the picture on the screen, after switching to AV and all seems well but as soon as I change a channel on the setellite receiver the screen turns blue. there is a picture but its all blue.
I've connected it to another tv set and it works fine. one might think that the problem is in the tv. in order to check it I've connected my old receiver to the tv (the Sony) and thats works fine. so it seems that the tv is ok and the receiver is ok but they dont work together for some reason. any ideas?

It sounds like one of your A/V cables is not making a secure connection.
I had that problem once and tightening the cable connections at the TV fixed it.

I've followed your advise and replaced the cable with another one but the outcome is still the same.
