How do you start a tuning fork oscillating ? You tap it on a hard surface.
Replace the hard surface with a solenoid slug, and have the solenoid "Excite" the fork at say 20-30 second intervals (use a 555 cos it doesn't need to be too accurate). As for getting the Lissajous reflections, I must admit I'm not sure but just a suggestion to excite the fork.
