TSSOP package problem

Hello.
I bought an IC with TSSOP package. However, it is very difficult for me to implement it into my project due to the soldering problem (manual solder). I heard about the prototyping adapter and the programming adapter. May I know what is the difference between them? How can I convert the TSSOP package into DIP package without soldering the TSSOP chip? Where to find this kind of adapter in Malaysia?

Do you work for Proto Advantage? You're near Electronic components - dipmicro electronics in Burlington. It appears dipmirco has some SMT to DIP adapters for less than $1
