Hi!
I have downloades a couple datsheets to transistors that i have, and now i'm a bit confused. I want to know what is the MIN/MAX current/voltage the base can take so that the transistor starts to lead/doesn't break.
Is it the Emitter-Base voltage? the Base-Emitter on voltage? Base Current? (in the datasheet)
To turn on a transitor the difference betwwen base and emitter voltage (Vbe_min) should be 0.7V for silicon transistor and 0.3V for germanium. Normally base current of transistor is of the order of uA, giving more base current will saturate the transistor and may lead to junction breakdown.
