tomtom gps doesn't work

the problem is, that tomtom One doesn't work. the item is new, but only green led lights, nothing else appiers.
 
Try pressing the reset.

I have an older TomTom, a couple of times it has done something similar where it turns on but does not work.
Pressing the reset fixed it.

On mine, the reset is inside a very small hole underneath the unit.
