For anyone making a simple h-bridge. Whole family of them, but I'm going to use this one...

£0.468 each, minimum purchase of 10, from RS. I only need one - guess I'll just have to find a use for them...

Hi,

Well now that you mention it, i wonder what the prospects of using two in parallel might be, since you have to buy 10. What is that about 70 cents or something in USD ?
I checked Mouser, $1.17 each, 10 for 0.91 cents each.

I like transistor H bridges because you can control things that are normally harder to control, like when you have to reverse the polarity of a motor.

Exactly what I want to use it for - a small low voltage motor. There are more of these in the family with higher current ratings - personally I wouldn't go paralleling them, more due to lack of knowledge than anything. I chose this one mainly for it's low Rds(on) combined with it being the cheapest one. I have ronsimpson to thank for finding them - I was trying to find out how to identify suitable complementary trannys, and found these instead
