If it were me I'd build a heliostat. No sensors just an RTCC, some math & a couple of motors. The Suns position is predictable afterall.

I did learn a lot of things here, maybe not a lot of electronics.. but, it was helpful.. having to answer questions that anyone walking on the street would ask has helped me a lot..
