The maximum LED current

Hello, how can I make an LED having at least four times its value nonimal without burning bone using 3 AA batteries 4.5 V, the LED that I have to use your normal consumption is 80 mA bone that i would require minimum 320 mA, I using a 555 so that the power is down but I still can not get that power it requires.
