Hi All

As most of you know, the Costa Concordia hit a reef on the Island of Giglio in Italy on January 13 2012.

Today, the appointed Titan and Microperi teams of Salvage people have almost Parbuckled the ship.... Live Feed here: **broken link removed**

They have to work through the night if necessary to complete the Parbuckling.

If you don't what Parbuckling is please search on Google. You might just learn something about real Engineering at it's very best...

Parbuckling completed by the 500 strong team lead by a South African...

Nick Sloane was very well known in the salvage industry...but unheard of anywhere else.

Now the whole World knows just how massive this task was. And Nick is a hero in Italy....A useless Captain sank the ship...and an expert Captain raised it.
