Testing a PWM

I have a PWM OUT OF MY TV Samsung 55 inch . I do not have a Cro
How do I test this component

If you can read the part number, search for a data sheet.

If you can't find a data sheet, throw it in the trash - there's no way to know how to use it.
 
PWM is pulse width modulation, it is a square wave signal where you can adjust the width of the wave by changing the duty cycle. Thus, it can be used in power electronics for various applications like inverter, rectifiers etc.

We once used it for making home automation system as the wave width is used to generate binary coded signal and commands.
