Hi folks
I need some help in designing a 'bedside" which is in vogue presently in my country.I want to know the standard industry best practices (designs) in North America and Western Europe.
The same goes for wiring a staircase lamp from two points/switches.Both designs have come in vogue in recent times.

You need two SPDT swicthes... One common goes to the lamp, the other common goes to the supply.

The switch NC and NO contacts are wired together... ie NO to NO and NC to NC..
