Hi there,

Simple question but what are the differences between the above chips? Cant seem to find anything in the datasheet except temperature operation parameters....

They are probably made from the same die. The "wider temp range" part is always tested for first, and die that don't make it are tested to the narrow (commercial) limits. In some cases, the cheap commercial part is the only test limit run and so a lot of those may have premium parts mixed in the lot as well.

It is related to part performance at the temperature extremes not covered by the basic commercial part. Example: some companies spec a part grade for 0 - 125C junction, some have a -25C to +125C, some have -40C to +125C and some (MIL) parts are -55C to 150C. In most cases the numerical value of limits are different and temp range is different.
