can anyone suggest an easy way of building an AM transmitter
Please suggest an audio source capable of driving loads upto 8 ohms

An AM transmitter operates on such a low radio frequency that it needs a very long antenna.
AM radios have terribly muffled sound because they produce no high audio frequencies.
AM radios pickup all kinds of AM (amplitude) interference.
AM radios usually have high distortion.

There are hundreds of audio power amplifier ICs available. The audio source feeds the power amplifier. The power amplifier feeds the speaker.

Some of these might be useful.

I think the "A" in AM radio means Awful. The "F" in FM radio means Fantastic.
