im building a 40Hz monostable circuit with two L555CN ICs with a transistor between the two 555s acting as a buffer. it is meant to produces a clock pulse between 1 and 2 ms. im using a LDR to control the length of the clock pulse and the circuit is meant to run a servo.

im having trouble getting the square wave clock pulse past the buffer phase and getting the ldr to have any effect on the pulses width. any suggestions??????

As always, post a schematic.
