My Sharp LC-46D62U has two very thin (pixel thin, under 1mm). These are less then an inch in length. One is near the bottom center, and one is on the left lower. They are fixed and don't change with different channels or inputs. Any ideas? Thanks

Don't throw it away yet!

LCD Matrix ribbon is surely loose (I don't know if loose is the correct word in english, I mean "non-properly fastened").
Apply some pressure on the ribbon connections, to see if the lines dissapear.
