As I understand it I need the FUNCTION for the CASE/SELECT as per the help file

The only reason for using the function would be if you wanted to display the adc result as a voltage instead of the raw 10-bit reading 0-1023
Nothing to do with case-select.

It works as planned

On to coding an 8x8 led matrix. This is all one project.
