series paraell math

Series or parallel? Containing what components?

I have no idea what you are asking for...

If you are talking series resistors well then they are added..
Parallel Resistors are added recipicated values and the result is recipicated as well..

Example:
Parallel, 1k-1 + 1k-1 + 1k-1 = result -1
you have to recipicate the result to get 333.33 Ohms

Is this what you mean??
AC and DC anaylisis of cascading amps use this. Of course there is more to it than series parallel resistors.

I am trying to find the formula to use for series paraell circuits, can anyone help me Thanks

for series resisitors r1+r2+r3+.....+rn=R

for parallel (r1)^-1+(r2)^-1+(r3)^-1+(r4)^-1+...+(rn)^-1=(R)^-1

i assume its resistors

You can do it for capacitors as well. but in the other war

if caps are parallel add values.

If caps are in series add recipicated values and the result is recipicated as well.

eg paralles c1+c2 +..... =C

series 1/c1 +1/c2 .................= 1/C
