What type of serial port cable do i need to connect the
PIC PG2 - Pic Programmer
(based on jdm design) to my serial port?

i have a serial cable but i dont know if the pins are connected correctly?

does pin 1 from the serial port ned to go to pin1 on the programmer...etc?

i would be grateful for some explanation
