I use similar bricks in Tesla coil applications - Dual Resonant Solid State (DRSS) ones, as a matter of fact. They're also great for active power factor correction (i.e. mains-powered boost converters).
 
Those are some bad-*** devices. Expensive too.
You are lucky to have scored such devices. As DerStrom mentioned, you can build a really powerful supply with them.
One word of caution: bad*** devices require a bad*** gate drive. Make sure that you use the correct drive circuits.
