audioguru Well-Known Member Most Helpful Member Dec 2, 2011 #2 A 1N4007 is a very slow rectifier. A Schottky diode is extremely fast. Try testing a very fast 1N914 or 1N4148 diode.

V vlad777 Member Dec 2, 2011 #3 I don't have an oscilloscope, I was thinking maybe someone has a photo, or link on the net. I just would like to see actual response of Schottky diode. (how much ringing, overshot ...)

V vlad777 Member Dec 2, 2011 #7 Damn I feel stupid! Thanks man. That is real nice. I checked HER108 (on alldatasheet.com) but didn't see 11DQ05 !

jpanhalt Well-Known Member Most Helpful Member Dec 2, 2011 #8 I found a quick read of the whole study kind of interesting. I love it when data are presented. John
