I want to design a digital filter for converting 40KHz square wave into a sine wave by using FIR filter and DAC and finally RC lowpass filter. What can be the maximum sampling rate to be used for the filter?Any other suggestions for this filter design pl. suggest?
What is the purpose of an overly elaborate scheme to do a simple analog conversion? There is no "maximum" sampling rate. There is, however a minimum rate, which is 2X the highest frequency of interest.
