Row Scan

I have done LED matrix (5X7) using column scan. Its working nicely.

Now I need to do a LED matrix (5X7) using row scan technique.

For the 5 columns I have 5 registers. In row scan do I need to show the upper bit (7th bit) of each registers on the first row?
On the 2nd row do I need to show the 6th of each registers?

Any ideas how to do a row scan?

Just reverse the connections to the rows and columns, there's no difference betwenn scanning rows and scanning columns.
