Remote controlling

About the topic remote controlling by RF signals, I'm a biginner. I don't know where to start by learning to remote control for example airplanes or RC-cars. Could somebody give me a link or some info about how to do it.

Get yourself a transmitter (can be AM or FM), and get yourself a receiver (or radio). Tune them both to the same frequency, and you have a basic remote control circuit.
