blueroomelectronics Well-Known Member Sep 8, 2009 #4 That is a Chassis GND, it can often be connected to Earth or may form part of an AM loop antenna. Ground (electricity) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia And antenna is well an antenna tuned for AM reception. Can be as simple as a length of wire. **broken link removed** **broken link removed**

transistor495 Member Forum Supporter Sep 8, 2009 #5 That is external AM antenna port if needed. Not for FM. External antenna unit may have two terminal for connecting to a receiver. One is signal output and other is ground. That screw(with caution) looks like a fix for FM/or SW telescopic areal. If you unscrew it you need to open the cover to fix it properly.
