What is your problem? What do you want to do? What is your question? At what stage are you in solving it?

Wouldn't an easier solution be to use a pwm pin with an R/C filter. With a settling time of 20mS I can't see much use for this.

I still don't understand what he is trying to do. Create a voltage proportional to the duty cycle (e.g., low-pass filter approach) or control a current as with LED's and other things?
