Re: 74ls192 truth table

Hi :)

Thanks for your response to my inquiry. I hope it won't be the last time.
Well, as of now I'm building the count down timer. My problem is how can I shorten the count of 74ls192. For instance, I want the timer to count for only 30 seconds. To do that of course I have to connect the pin of I.C in the right logic. That is why I want to know the truth table of 74ls192.
I hope that you can help me on my problem.
I really appreciate your response and hope that I will hear it from you again.
Thank you and God Bless.

Magic light....

Hi,
heres what happens to the 74LS192....

To load an input, "load" input must be taken low.
This will result in the counters output being set
to data inputs ABCD.

Then to count up, "down" must be high, "up" must
low, vice versa for counting down. Taking CLR high,
resets everything. Output appears at Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4.

You can get the 74LS192 data sheet here:
https://www.acfr.usyd.edu.au/teaching/mxlab/ref/components/TTL/SN74LS192.pdf
You need Acrobat reader to view this.

Hope this is of some help!
