question about offset pin on op amp

For example if i have TL071 op amp. Do i need to ground the offset pins 1 and 5, or can i just leave them if there not being used ?

Normally the offset adjustment pins on an op amp are left open.

The datasheets for all opamps never show the input offset pins grounded.

Of course not. I said that they are never connected to ground. "Never" means "not ever".
