ciao a tutti, vado ad alimentare una pompa dell'acqua 12v con una batteria, avrei bisogno di regolare la potenza della pompa tramite dimmer, ho disegnato un circuito, vorrei sapere da voi esperti se riesco a collegare il tutto in questo modo

hi everyone, I am going to power a 12v water pump with a battery, I would need to adjust the pump power via dimmer, I have drawn a circuit, I would like to know from you experts if I can connect everything in this way
Probably OK..
Motors generally take far more than their rated current when starting, and that drops down to the running current as the motor reaches full speed.

It should work if you always start with the speed set to minimum then increase speed, but may cause problems if you try to start it at full speed or near that.
