dear all
please help me
i am working on a prject (power supply)
i can get output voltage up to 80volt DC but the output current is verry low
so i want to amplifire the current to (3A) please helllllllllllllllllllllp

Purchase the proper transformer. The only way to accomplish such is to drop the current, if you want to maintain the current output you need to purchase a properly rated device.

Don't forget my favorite places:

Or any Salvage place, ebay works very well (buyer beware).

Don't be purchasing your stuff from RATSHACK please, you will get "CRAP"

What a weird way to post a question, you have to take some, any time, to provide usefull information to get a reasonable response. The info supplied is crap. If it is that important, give the ppl here some respect.

A transistor is a current amplifier in the emitter follower configuration. You need a 3A, 80v supply to power the transistor.
