please can someone help me

i am starting an electronic course shortly and i was advised to download a version of microcap to aid in my studies. i have downloaded the latest student version from spectrum-soft.com. it is contained in a .zip file. i have also downloaded zipitfast pro. this is where i get stuck. i am fairly pc ignorant and would like to know how i can retrieve microcap from the .zip file. i am running windows xp.

And then you can just double click on the .zip to open it, extract the compressed files to a folder by hitting "Extract" follow the prompts and your set

Isn't there an 'install.exe' or 'setup.exe' file to click on?

It might be a case of downloading it to a directory and running it from there.

I've used Microcap before and from what I can remember it came with an installation program.
