Going back to high speed comparator instead of the PIC's built in one - I still haven't got round to doing the mod yet. Rather than the nice LT1016 circuit, it's simpler to use a plain comparator without the extras. (because the LT1016 is expensive). LMV7219 looks like good value, but would it be able to do the job?
