Just wanted to get an idea for where people get their parts from. I know there are various on-line stores that sell parts. Where do you all shop/recommend as a good supplier for small quantity orders and resonable prices?

I use Digi-Key. They're located in Arizona. Good service. Check 'em out at digikey.com You can order online or get a catalog from the site.
