I have the schematic for the power supply and I've traced the fault to a blown primary on the aux power supply transformer (TR2). It is an E core in a 10 pin former.
It has a Manson part number (A9400000) but does not seem obtainable from Manson or from the company that sold the psu. Is it possible to buy one or to find the specification. It is driven by a TOP222Y. It has a 130 turn primary and three secondaries, but I have no information on the secondary turns. The schematic does not give me a value for Vcc either. Is it likely that the TOP222Y has failed and blown the primary, there is some suspicious black deposit near its D pin.

As always, if it's a switch-mode supply, then the transformer will be a custom wound job, you can't really buy 'off the shelf' switch-mode transformers, as they are too specialised.

The only source of availability would be the manufacturer of the PSU (Manson?), as they wil have had the transformer made, and only they would have spares for it - if indeed they still do.

The manufacturing process is so good, in most cases, it would be cheaper for Manson to send you a new power supply then to send a transformer.

I've found and repaired the break in the primary of the auxiliary transformer. The rest of the psu works when I supply a Vcc of 9V at 70ma. The front panel doesn't work as that needs the 100khz supply from the auxiliary transformer. There is a reference to a transformer that was sourced via an Australian forum.
