noise generator question

I just saw a thermal noise equation, on this site-> https://eepower.com/resistor-guide/resistor-fundamentals/resistor-noise/#:~:text=The vibrations of the electrons, contributor to noise for resistors.

the equation is basicly NOISE= RESISTANCE*TEMPERATURE*INPUT FREQUENCY??

If i go through a 1M resistor at say 40khz, then i just amp it up enough, eventually the noise becomes loud enough, to get noise in the frequency range.

So I just resist it off and amp it back up again, and I get noise.

Is this true?

If you make your signal tiny by feeding it through a 1M resistor then don't be surprised if noise becomes a problem.

Mike.
Edit. Are you trying to generate noise?

Yes i actually want to generate noise!

From what u say it could work out for me.

the noise amp has to be pretty big, and u wouldnt want something accidentally to slip onto it past the 1M resistor.

x1 million amp. seems like a bad idea.

I need to test this out. I've got no experience here.
