no VGA-out only S-video

Hi

i've got a MSI EX600 laptop with broken display which i have removed and also the VGA-out port is not working, i can only use the S-video port which i think it's a clue that the GPU is functional.. trying Fn+F2 is useless, could you please tell me some of opions what can cause
such issue?

If I have to guess, you must activate second video output from within windows. That basically means that you won't get it to work without the primary screen.

no..that's not, mostly appears to be a hardware problem but i don't know where
the problem can be.. check this thread if you want so you can understand more
about the issue with the laptop.
