New Feature: Categorizing Posts with Prefixes

Hi,

We have just deployed a new feature which we hope will make it easier to view/find posts. It is only in the testing phase and will more-than-likely be changed and enhanced once we get a feel for it.

The prefixes replace the rather obsolete thread icons in the forum display. In its place is a icon with a short word describing the type of post it is. For example in this forum if a user posts a suggestion, it will show a little icon next to the post "IDEA". The prefixes as specified by the original poster.

Currently only enabled in the Feedback forum, however will be expanding to other forums shortly. They will also be sortable in the very near future.

Hi EM, I like the idea - what also could be cool would be to colour the bubbles to make them easier to see when browsing, like red for alert and blue for idea or whatever.

I agree it is a great feature. IF people use it.

Prefixes are now clickable! I will be rolling it out on more forums this week.

Sceadwian: Where I feel prefixes can cover all topics of a forum I will make it required. But on other forums it will be down to the members to utilize them.
