mosfet in LTspice

Hi guys,

For some reason, I cannot get any mosfet cct to simulate correctly. I must be doing something completely dense.

I'm trying to use the built in fets and presume they work ok. But I've resorted to just getting it to work as a switch, so for an nmos, pulling the gate to the input voltage. But it doesn't turn on. Seriously, what am I doing wrong?

I was being dense. Had forgotten to actually select a FET by right clicking it.
