mosfet driver circuit does not work!

I don't know why the uc3844 does not pull down well. The ones I have pull down very well. The pull up not as well.
What does it look like on the other side of the gate resistor? What is the value of the gate resistor?

Now it stopped working> I am going to give up on these ships anybody got a better idea on pwm controllers?
