Hello,

I am creating a very simple model in LTspice using an ac voltage source.

Does anyone know if the "magnitude" parameter used to specify the source refers to Peak or rms. The results I am getting seem consistant with rms.

Thanks

Mike

hi,
They are peak, so 230Vrms should be stated as 325V,,,OK:)

EDIT: if you plot the sinewave, place the cursor over the voltage label above the plot, press the 'CTRL' key and left click, a pop up window will show you the rms value and other parameters.
