low cost mp3 pcb

dear all

i'm looking for clever ideas - lateral

am working with company to produce basic mp3 player pcb. it has, and only requires (for my function): otp memory, cpu, no lcd, no usb, 128mb flash mem, single ear phone, 1 button.

price is too high, 7.50 usd -

we can make own ic (200k usd) - price will reduce by a dollar (ish)

will reduce quality to 16k ish

any other ways to achieve this???
