LM1036 vs TDA1524A

Hi Everyone!

I would just like to know which you would recommend between the TDA1524A and LM1036 tone control circuits? Which of them are the best quality?

I think if you want quality, you shouldn't be looking at IC's for your tone controls!.

I've never seen (or heard of) an LM1036, but I've changed a fair number of TDA1524A's over the years, they fail quite commonly in TV sets.
