hi,
im building my first ever robot and its to be a line follower.
i have absolutely no idea where to start.
i think i know it should have a sensor(ive ear-marked photodiodes) fro edge detection and im using a microcontroller for the brains but apart from that i know nothing.
where do i begin??

am currently building one myself but am concentrating on doing it in pure analog.

i would suggest that you use phototransistors than photodiodes, the photodiodes are overly sensitive to light.

oh yeah, what are you gonna use for your steering? :D
