Lg 26" lcd tv Horiz bars

Have Lg ru-23lz21 lcd After hot gets horizontal bars in picture from top to bottom. Anybody out there seen this before? Picture included Thanx TvJoe.

Dead panel. Column driver or two is damaged (ask me how I know ). AFAIK that's not fixable other than getting a replacement panel.

If you've got an identical set, with a smashed screen, you could try switching the LVDS boards - these are the small electronics board on the back of the LCD, and come as part of it.

Nigel thanx for info. Will keep it in mind. Changing from broken panel. But being 23" not worth repair. Thanx again TvJoe.

Probably, I can't say I've ever thought about it?, and I always thought 'Duff beer' was a play on the word.
