hey
anyone know how can i control 64 leds using the out put of the paralel port??

What part of this is a problem to you? The parallel port programming, or the actual circuit?

I know how I would control 64 LEDs to do what *I* want using my PC LPT port.

What do *you* want your LEDs to do? Light randomly? Spell your girlfriend's name?

one option could be to use the 8 data pins of the parallel port --each pin acts as an enable pin for 8 multiplexers..then using your control port of the parallel port..make the selection of 1 out of 8 devices connected to that MUX so you have a choice of 8+8+8+8+...8 times ..64 devices
