LCD showes nothing

Hi, everybody

I'm using PIC Tutorial Three - LCD Modules of Nigel Goodwin tutorial to control LCD.

I have wrote the code in MPLAB V7.5

Then simulat the program using PROTUSE. However the LCD shows nothing.

Please help me :confused:
 
Why not build it?, simulators aren't real life - my LCD tutorials are tried and tested, and work without problems.

ok, I'm going to build it. However I dont have pic16f628, I have pic16f877a. So, I'm going to make some changes.

For reference only, Tut#3 works fine in Oshonsoft, as do all your others that I have tried for OP's.

I traid to simulat the circuit in Oshonsoft. However nothing shows in the LCD.

Did you set up the Oshonsoft LCD module.??
Run at Ultimate Rate and wait until the Program delays time out. takes about 5 to 10 seconds.
