S satafinder New Member Oct 4, 2009 #2 I have the same problem with a 17" lcd Dell monitor (e172fpb). My problem was with the inverter board. Two of four transistors, marked c5707 were bad. check to see if your monitor has these transistors. if so, replace all four.
