I am trying to find what specific part might be wrong by looking at my video.
The problem started after changing the bad metal hinges in 2010 which shouldn't have nothing to do with the problem but it hapened.

Display used to display good half of the time back in 2015 or sometimes after hitting it slightly.
I removed the pcmcia slot thinking the display ribbon cable was shorting with that slot but after removing it(check photo) it was also showing bad display.

The flexible cable that passes through the screen hinge area is a fairly common failure point, as it gets flexed so much in use.

Edit - is it like this? The "scroll" where it flexes is the part I'd suspect to be the failure, it could start to crack eventually.

You may also have to check both ends of the cable, to see if anything got "pulled" when you changed the hinges. A slightly pulled cable can also show strange things. But, a broken trace is also a possibility.

i got better video for a few seconds after repositioning a piece of the flex cable back to a snapy position with the hinge that was wrong and is fixed or I'm aware now.

UPDATE: I got good image on the lcd panel, it appears to be this second flex cable rjenkin mentioned, now is back to bad display but only a little discolored is a lot better. It hasn't turned as bad as my videos showed before, What else can i do rjenkin? and sagor yea i think is being pulled abit much, I will try opening the panel again after the cmos battery charges to save my bios changes.

I had the graphics card wrongly installed it was being pulled up by the HDD enclosure causing the pc not to turn on at times, I was pressing down hard on the graphics card cause i saw it loose and now it seems the inverter at the bottom of the LCD panel make the screen turns the lights off, so I'm getting perfect image now but it only last a few seconds either on BIOS or xubuntu.

could someone tell me what this is? the screen turning the lamp/inverter off after a few seconds? the image on the crt remains working, when pressing FN CRT/LCD 3 times the image goes back to the lcd but still only a few seconds, i get perfect image now.
