layout limits?

Hi,
I have a packed board about 4" by 2.6" limited by the housing.

How close to the edge of the board can i go to layout components and vias?

I hope to have the board built by a PCB company.

You would have to ask the PCB company... We can't tell you their limitations.
 
Hi,

Different PCB company have different Capabilities, larger is better. usually track to edage of the board (outline) 10mil at least, if the clearance is not enough, the copper will be exposed, or cut the track to meet 10mil. Vias to outline 16mil.
