Is Induction lamp based streetlighting in UK/Europe/USA/World still being sold?

All the new streetlamps I've seen installed recently appear to be LED types around here - the local council are actively replacing old sodium ones.

My grandson does this quite frequently for the company he works for. The LED ones are still induction based, since they have a power supply to power the LEDs. Or maybe I don't understand the original premise of the original question.
 
I took it to mean lamps using a 50Hz choke or transformer ballast etc., rather than electronic power conversion or adaption.
